There's a lot of this PRI stuff floating around the Internet these days, and some strong claims about the "root cause" of posture problems. But it all seems very theoretical. Do you have any evidence that these protocols actually work? Do you see significant, objective improvement in your patients? Have there been any studies on this? Any testimonials to share? The "results" of the case study in this video are not compelling. Really they're not results at all, given the pictures are minutes apart. The kid may very well be standing that way intentionally, or subconsciously, knowing that this is the "after" picture. Any case studies of long-term results?

As an athlete of ranked national power lifter a ranked fighter I’ve always felt that my left side of my body and my left shoulder was not in balance with the rest of my upper body. I constantly have a swollen left trap, even with physical therapy and stretching my left trap and left side of my neck hurt

There's so much speculation to justify the patterns of "root cause" with no empirical evidence given. Demographics of tongue tie is small, you can rule out accessory muscles with palpation, and the "proper tongue posture" is not supported, and also probably impossible as it requires constant fight against gravity.
Just look at how cheetahs run they have a very flexible and long midsection. Usain Bolt has a similarly shaped midsection that is collapsed and released.
